# KYC Verification

KYC verification is solely required for Colony's Early-Stage Feature; the remainder of the application and interactions are KYC-free.

Colony's Early-stage Feature provides unprecedented investment opportunities in Seed/Private sales of early-stage Avalanche projects. To adhere to international compliance requirements, users interested in participating in the platform's sales must undergo KYC verification. This process is mandatory for accessing these early deals and making investments.\

ℹ️ You can complete **KYC** or **KYB** on Colony's application.

If you are an individual or legal entity who is a national or resident of the [**Restricted Jurisdictions list**](/legal/kyc-restricted-jurisdictions-list.md), such as the U.S.A, Canada, Iran, and others<mark style="color:red;">,</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">**you are strictly prohibited**</mark> from engaging in our KYC procedures and participating in seed/private sales on Colony Lab.\
