πŸ’ΌPortfolio

Colony's Portfolio marks the final phase of a project within the Early-Stage Program. Here, all users can easily access information on all projects' fundraises conducted through Colony's platform, the total number of participants in each sale, and the projects' vesting schedules.

Portfolio, is the phase where users who participated in a NEST receive their ceTokens, representing their full allocation in a specific Seed/Private sale of a project, and begin interacting with Colony's Liquid Vesting mechanism.

This unique mechanism empowers users to trade their entire early allocation in a project even before the project's native tokens unlock. Within the Portfolio section, users can claim their ceTokens, trade them on Colony's DEX, provide liquidity, stake LP to receive boosted APR (in ceTokens), or swap their ceTokens for the project's native token, subject to the project's vesting schedule.

All of these actions are made possible through ceTokens, a creation by Colony that represents users' rights to claim the project's native token based on the state of the vesting contract. To delve deeper into ceTokens and understand how they work, be sure to explore the section below:

NEST interactions:

Claim ceToken:

Users who invested in a project's NEST can claim their ceTokens allocation and take advantage of the Liquid Vesting solution.

It's also in this section that users can claim back the ceTokens that were locked for a specific period when they swap ceTokens for the project's native token. This is a mechanism we've implemented to safeguard the vesting pool (vesting contract with the project's native token) from being drained by a few individuals. This "Fair Claim Mechanism" ensures that every individual can only claim a proportional amount of project tokens during a specific period. Learn more about it by visiting the section below:

All CLY stakers, including those who did not participate in a NEST seed/private sale, can claim the ceTokens (8%) that were airdropped to them. Simply navigate to the Airdrops page on the application menu to claim your ceTokens. For more information on how ceTokens are distributed within Colony's application, please refer to the ceTokens distribution section.

Swap ceToken:

Users holding ceTokens will be able to swap their ceTokens to the project’s native token depending on the status of the vesting contract.

A "Fair Claim Mechanism" is implemented to safeguard the vesting pool (vesting contract with the project's native token) from being drained by a few individuals. Additionally, a "Long-Term Incentives" mechanism with Bonus/Penalty is in place to incentivize users who are long-term investors to claim project tokens later in the vesting period, rather than immediately.

Trade ceTokens:

Users will be able to trade their ceTokens directly on Colony’s Decentralized Exchange official pools, thanks to the Liquid Vesting solution. The trading pair is ceToken/AVAX.

This trading function on Colony enables users to either sell their early allocation acquired on Early-stage NEST or buy more. Additionally, it allows users who missed a fundraise on Colony or couldn't participate due to KYC restrictions to directly purchase seed/private sales ceTokens allocation from other investors on Colony's DEX.

Provide Liquidity:

10% of the total ceTokens of a project will be provided as rewards for the liquidity providers on the trading pools ceToken/AVAX. (Check ceTokens distribution for more information)

CeTokens holders can provide liquidity by pairing their ceTokens with AVAX on Colony's DEX. By staking their LPs, they unlock a boosted APR in ceToken rewards. Through this process of providing liquidity and claiming ceToken rewards, users can maximize their ceTokens allocation, thereby increasing their ability to swap for additional native project tokens over time.

Claim ANT and or USDC excess:

If users didn’t claim their excess USDC or ANT tokens during the Investment Committee on the NEST, they can still claim them on Colony’s Portfolio.

ANT tokens redemption here only applies to users who did not commit their entire Max USDC contribution in the NEST during the Analysis phase to match their ANT tokens used to register investment interest.
